Story
Empact was looking for a complete overhaul of the design language. The rebranding included App design and UX, website, marketing material and more.
What I did
Within the first 6 months of my stay at Empact, I created a new design system, updated the design of the app, introduced them to new website assets and much more. All created with web accessibility following WCAG 2.1 standards.

Story
When launching the new admin interface, we also wanted to add a fast track for our customers. And the quick 3 step onboarding was born.
In 3 rather simple steps, you can manage to setup your consent banner and start collecting consents on your website.
The problem
We faced 2 problems. 1) Interface was outdated, and 2) We wanted to increase the number of customers like any other company. We knew that the design was somewhere between 5-10 years old, the users signed up, but they did not implement the script on their site. As soon as we had them onboard, they were pretty much locked in with a 99% retention rate.
The process
We had an initial kickoff with Director of product, architects, product owner and myself as product designer. We set some goals on how to onboard the customers easier, update the interface and experience - to lower the time to activation. It went through some cycles, handover and then launched.
The solution
We added simple 3 step setup. 1) The user should add their domain, since this was crucial. 2) They could choose to customize their banner or go with our default. 3) The user needed to implement the script on their website.
The result
When comparing the numbers from the old platform, to the new improved one. We saw an increase of +251% new trials and an +764% increase of Premium upgrades.
2023
Story
The old version was a legacy platform which was very outdated to say it the least. It was the same admin interface that had been operating since 2012 when the company started. Evolved over time, but not from a design point of view. In the summer of 2023 we launched a new admin interface, that I had been working on for some time. It was the MVP version with limited set of options.
What I did
I was driving the whole design, deciding on how it should look. In corporation with various developers and stakeholders. But overall, I have been given free hands on how I want the product to work and feel. Created with web accessibility following WCAG 2.1 standards.

Story behind
After creating the Cookiebot Consent banner, we knew that we were going to working on a new website and admin interface (Cookiebot's tool to edit the settings of the Consent banner).
Collaboration
Like any other design system, this is a never ending organism that evolves. In close collaboration with our developers, we defined together how we wanted to create and maintain the design system.
Figma
All our components is created and usable in Figma.
2021
Story behind
First real task after joining Cookiebot (Now Usercentrics) in 2021. I got the chance to redesign the consent banners we provide.
What I did
Based on the research I did of the competitors and our own banners, I designed a more modern banner for Cookiebot.
With simplicity in mind and having a clear idea of where I wanted to take the branding towards. The banner was with WCAG 2.1 in mind, to make our banners more future proof than the previous ones.
The banner has been under a continues update when having to be compliant with various regulations around the globe.
The numbers
– The banner is currently being viewed by more than 5 billion people each month.
– More than 1.4 million websites uses the Cookiebot banner today.
– We support more than 47 different languages in the banner.

I got contacted and asked to come up with a "landing page" for Denmarks National Handball team, and to rebrand the team for the upcoming European Championship 2020.
I created all the design for their website, and another team developed the website in Umbraco.
Goals set by client
The client set two goals for the rebranding / landing page:
- Sell more tickets to their matches
- Showcase the players, so the audience gets to know them

J.Tex folk music artist
Story behind
The singer and songwriter J.Tex got a new website to promote upcoming shows, to showcase his music and to enable venues and others to book him in for another gig.
The website is dynamic, so only if there is an upcoming show, it will be shown on the frontpage as in the video example here. All his shows are automatically updated to list them under upcoming or previous shows. And it is made super easy for J.Tex to maintain and update.
Cool extras for this site
- Cool interactions and animations
- A lot of dynamic content, so the website behaves in different ways depending on if J.Tex has an upcoming show or not
- Build with CMS, so all content is easily managed

Who
VEO Technologies
Story behind
This was a design challenge to create a mobile player profile for video recording company VEO. This is the unpolished design that I came up with.
Our primary customers are sports clubs and coaches. But we have an increasing number of Player profiles created on our platform as our customers base of Clubs grow. Currently players’ engagement with our platform is low. We want to explore ways to increase their engagement while we help them achieve their personal goals.
How might we help Players make them feel prestigious, accomplished, and achieve their full potentials?
A Player data model has the following attributes:
- Name
- Age
- Photo(s)
- Jersey Number
- Position (in which they play)
- Club (Name, crest)
A player can:
- be tagged in Highlights (short videos clipped from games they’ve played)
- follow other Players and Clubs
- like Highlights
Design a mobile app for Players
Max 5-8 pages (low fidelity prototypes are fine)
Spend 4-6 hours on it
